Earth Aid is looking for a top-notch web designer (UI/UX) interested in an opportunity to join a growing start-up company with clear direction and proven potential. This is a contract to hire opportunity to get in at the ground level with a growing team developing a concept that is going to be huge!

About Earth Aid

Earth Aid Enterprises is a quickly growing green-tech start-up dedicated to helping Americans become more energy efficient in their homes. In April Earth Aid Enterprises launched EarthAid.net, a unique online platform that helps individuals track and reduce their energy usage and earn rewards for their energy savings.

What we're after...

Earth Aid is seeking a talented and experienced web designer to take the lead in improving and continually reinventing the aesthetics of the user interface of our site and application - you'll also be called upon periodically to develop slick, related offline materials. We're preparing to rapidly scale-up, and we're looking to you to shape our look and feel - online, offline, and mobile. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in the quickly growing green energy field and to work with Ruby on Rails in a small, friendly, forward-thinking team environment.

How to apply...

Send a resume, short cover letter, and portfolio to designer [at] earthaid [dot] net.

With your application, show us a sample (or samples) of how you would re-imagine the Earth Aid logo and the Earth Aid homepage. Don't feel bound by what we've got already - if you join the team, you'll be charged with leading and executing all design work for Earth Aid.

(Bonus: We're about helping people save energy and helping them visualize their impact and their savings. What creative ideas and mechanisms for scalably implementing such ideas do you have for visualizing Earth Aid's unique stream of consumption data and for observed changes in that consumption data?)
